What is Outlook Web Access?

Outlook Web Access is a web based interface that allows you to connect to your company’s Exchange Server.

What are the benefits of Outlook Web Access?

It allows you access to your email, contacts, calendar and public folders from virtually any computer that has a browser and internet access.

So how do you use it?

You start by opening a browser, such as Internet Explorer. Once the browser is open, type in the following in the address bar:


Note: you can make this a favorite.

Depending on the browser you use, you might be prompted with the following or similar:

A prompt about the Security Alert. Choose "Yes" or "Continue".

A logon box asking for a Username and a Password.

Your information will be identical to the Username and Password that is used to open Outlook.

Press "OK" when you have done so.

This will get you access to Outlook Web Access.
